The Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel has been recognized for its exceptional food and beverage operation at the Bayfront Grille located inside the property. The restaurant, located at 55 West Bay Drive, has just moved to the #1 ranking out of 438 Sheraton hotels worldwide. For the last four years, the Bayfront Grille ranked #1 against all 195 Sheraton hotels in North America.

The ranking is based on a Starwood brand customer service platform called the “Guest Experience Index.” To determine the scores for this ranking, each guest is sent a survey after their stay to evaluate different facets of the hotel, including “Overall Food and Beverage Experience.” The score is then measured against all Sheraton hotels in North America and globally. The scores/rankings are updated on a daily basis, with the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel’s overall food and beverage ranking recently moving from #2 to #1 in both Sheraton North America and Sheraton Global.

The hotel and restaurant opened in 2008 and have proven to be valuable assets to the community, providing employment opportunities and breathtaking waterfront dining for guests and residents. During peak season, the restaurant has an average of 60 employees, currently operating under Chef Matthew Stallings, Chef Thomas Tirpak and Restaurant Manager Raymond Schlaufman.

The Bayfront Grille was renovated last year when a $2 million makeover was completed on all facets of the 200-room hotel. The patio seating capacity increased from 60 to 120 seats featuring breathtaking, waterfront views. The update also included a signature cocktail bar and a new fire pit.

Overlooking Presque Isle Bay, the restaurant is ideal for friends and family gatherings or a romantic dinner just for two. The Bayfront Grille serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily; Sunday-Thursday 6:30AM to 10:00PM and Friday-Saturday 6:30AM to 11:00PM. You can also relax with a carefully-crafted cocktail in the Bayfront Grille Lounge, a laid-back atmosphere featuring drinks and appetizers with a bayfront view; Sunday–Thursday 11:00AM to 11:00PM and Friday-Saturday 11:00AM to 1:00AM.
