ALERT: Avoid Ticket Fraud

Nearly two years ago, Erie Events cautioned patrons about the secondary ticket market growing in popularity across the country. Since then, we’ve continued to see an increase in the amount of people unknowingly buying tickets from brokers who sell them to make a profit. This problem continues to affect many of our valued patrons and can turn a special event into a costly nightmare.

At Erie Events, we strive to ensure that all patrons attending events at our venues have an enjoyable experience and get the best possible seat for the best possible price. Unfortunately, there is a growing presence of predators that seek to take advantage of our patrons by selling counterfeit tickets or reselling tickets at grossly inflated prices. Despite our best efforts, we can’t stop them, so we need to educate our patrons and advise them to be careful when purchasing tickets. Erie Events is not able to honor, replace or refund invalid or counterfeit tickets.

While we have taken many steps to stop these predators, there are only three ways to safely purchase your tickets:

  1. Purchase them online at our secure website www.erieevents.com.
  2. Purchase them in person at the Erie Insurance Arena box office (no handling or service fees).
  3. Purchase them by calling the Erie Insurance Arena box office at (814) 452-4857.

Erie Events fully guarantees tickets purchased in any of these three ways.

The following national touring shows are scheduled to perform this year, so we are taking this opportunity to remind you about the dangers of the secondary ticket market.
