Erie Otters Announce Western Conference Finals Schedule

(April 16, 2015) The Erie Otters will face the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the opening games of the OHL Western Conference Finals that will be played on Thursday, April 23, 2015 and Friday, April 24, 2015 in Sault Ste. Marie. The Otters return to home ice for games 3 & 4 which are scheduled for Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 7:00pm and Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 7:00pm at the Erie Insurance Arena. Both home games will be televised on SportsNet 360, a sports specialty channel that reaches 8.2 million Canadian homes. The opportunity for the home games to be televised was made possible through the generous efforts of Bill Stafford and the Erie Explosion football team. Mr. Stafford graciously rescheduled the Erie Explosion football game slated for Sunday, April 26, 2015 to Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 7:00pm. “The chance to showcase Erie twice on a national TV network is important to our community and an opportunity that could not be missed,” said Mr. Stafford. Mr. Stafford secured approval from the PIFL and the opposing team to help the Otters, the arena and the Erie community achieve national recognition.

All tickets purchased for the Erie Explosion game on Sunday, April 26th will be honored on the rescheduled date. Erie Otters tickets for games 3 & 4 will go on sale Friday, April 17th at 10:00am and can be purchased at the Erie Insurance Arena box office, or by calling (814) 452-4857.
